Our Staff

Dr. Spencer and four award-winning environmenalists have been working together for over 15 years as the Australian Tropical Research Foundation to study and protect the Daintree Tropical Rainforest. Conservation of the Daintree Rainforest and all of its potential for discovery of new medicines and species is their topmost priority. Together they have:

*reforested acres of land in the Daintree Tropical Rainforest,
*surveyed the plants and animals,
*mapped the territories and movements of endangered species, and
*received numerous grants to study the impact of urbanization on the health and stability of the Daintree Tropical Rainforest
